Oneida County assessment rolls have a real property archive route

For an old assessment or parcel history, start with Oneida County Real Property Services and its Assessment Rolls Archive. Use those records instead of loose copies of old rolls.

Open the archive with the parcel ID, town or city, and roll years. Match each old page to the same parcel, then place the current notice at the end of the sequence. Mark any change or disputed entry.

If the question concerns an older roll, ask Real Property Services to check the archived entry. If it concerns the current assessment, take the current notice and comparison to the assessor. Keep the pages, notice, question, and office answer together.
