A Nassau property record and an assessment challenge are two different questions. Start with the county LandRecord Viewer. It shows assessment roll data, districts, tax maps, property photos, past taxes, rates, exemptions, and similar sales.
Before calling an attorney, filing a grievance, or relying on a real-estate website, look up the parcel in the official viewer. Save the section, block, and lot, then compare that record with the current assessment notice.
Keep the LandRecord result, current notice, exemptions, and similar sales together. If something looks wrong, mark the exact entry you want the Assessment Department to explain or correct.
