Canandaigua’s transfer and recycling service is for Town of Canandaigua residents only. A permit is required. Town code also limits the Recycling-Transfer Facility to town residents and residential use only. It does not accept waste made by a business.
Bring a valid recycling-transfer permit when using the site. The Town Board sets the days and hours, which are posted at the facility entrances.
Before loading the vehicle, check the town’s current waste and recycling page. Review the permit, coupons, open hours, item limits, and recycling rules. Keep the current town instructions with the permit. They will help you sort the load and take each item to the right part of the facility.
